Westwood

(Rancho Bernardo -- City of San Diego)

Westwood was built with the original concept of providing easy access from local housing to the adjacent planned industrial park. It has evolved into a prime family- friendly neighborhood, and that is reflected by the family and children’s activities of Westwood Club.

Westwood has its own neighborhood shopping center, a few attached homes, and a set of apartments. Westwood is bounded on the North by Lake Hodges, on the East by The I-15 freeway, on the South by the Industrial Park, and on the West by 4S Ranch.

The main north/south street in Westwood, which runs by the shopping center, the apartments and leads from Westwood into the RB industrial park

Westwood is comprised of an older section and a newer section. The older section is generally in the $565,000 -- $700,000 range. The newer sections can top out in the several million dollar range.

Westwood Elementary School serves the young children in Westwood.
