Third, and (Probably) Last Blog Announced

I am happy to announce my THIRD (and probably last) Blog!

Titled "The Point Position," this Blog will contain many of my recently published columns in the San Diego Business Journal and the Rancho Bernardo Sun, for which I have been a regular columnist.

The Blog will also contain many writings I have submitted, and which have not been published – neither newspaper can publish as much as I write, and in some cases my writings are on subjects that do not fit their editorial policy. As an example, the SDBJ quite properly will not usually print a column I submit if it is not on local economic or business matters – such as ones I wrote on tsunamis after the Indonesian disaster.

I have always been introduced as "The Controversial Allen…." So my posted articles will evoke strong reaction. They always have.

No problem…one thing about being blunt is that I am seldom misunderstood.

I have published more than 1,500 newspaper columns – but have written another 3,000 or so.
This is my personal Blog, so, unlike the computer Blog in which I will primarily serve the Computer Club, or the Meadows Community Blog in which will primarily post things of interest to the community, this final Blog will contain whatever I feel like writing.

You are invited to attend – and to comment.
